NEWARK – Newark police have arrested two men following a drive-by shooting that happened Saturday evening.
It happened just before 8:30 p.m. when officers responded to Riverview Drive.
James Alexander, 22 of Pataskala, was arrested without incident on Tuesday in Columbus. Devin Rhineheart, 23 of Newark, turned himself in Wednesday morning. Alexander and Rhinehart are both being held on State of Ohio Parole warrants.
A 61-year-old woman was flown to Ohio State's Wexner Medical Center where she is expected to be OK.
Newark Detectives determined that the shooting came from outside the woman's home and it's believed she was not a target of the shooting and hit by a stray bullet.
