COLUMBUS, Ohio — Two people are dead following a wrong-way crash on state Route 104 in south Columbus Saturday evening.
According to Columbus police, they were called to S.R 104 near Alum Creek Road shortly before 8:30 p.m.
Police say Janeiro Matthews was driving his 2014 Kia Cadenza westbound on S.R. 104 when he was struck head-on by a Toyota Camry driven by Aden Dagane.
During the police investigation, it was learned that Dagane entered the off-ramp the wrong way before the crash.
Both Matthews and Dagane were taken to Grant Medical Center where they later died.
There was also a passenger in Dagane's vehicle who was also transport to the hospital where they are described to be in stable condition.
The crash remains under investigation, according to police.
