COLUMBUS, Ohio-- Dannielle Rowe was found dead inside a home in the area of 154 North Central Avenue on May 21, 2018. An investigation revealed she suffered significant stab wounds and blunt force trauma.

On August 24, 2019, Columbus Police announced they have charged Mark Duncan Jr. for the alleged murder last year.

“It makes me sick and I wouldn’t want no body to ever have to deal with this,” Dannielle’s sister Tonya Castel said.

Castel tells 10TV the suspect is no stranger to her family.

“He’d come down and we use to give him pizza, we use to give him cigarettes and he use to hang out with my younger kids.”

“He’s behind bars and not going to be out on the street bragging about this ever again,” Castel said.

Duncan will be arraigned on charges on August 26.
