MORROW COUNTY, Ohio — A 16-year-old boy was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Morrow County late Saturday night, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

OSHP says the crash occurred on County Road 194 near County Road 21 in Chester Township just before 11:50 p.m.

Brandon Campbell, of Fredricktown, was driving a Jeep Grand Cherokee northbound on County Road 194 when he drove off the right side of the road, hitting a tree and overturning.

Campbell was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle, OSHP said. He sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

OSHP reminds drivers to wear seatbelts at all times while in a vehicle.
