Twelve women found inside a Columbus residence have been identified as possible victims of human trafficking.
On Thursday, the Whitehall Police Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant in the 800 block of Ruby Avenue in Columbus.
Whitehall police said narcotics was the focus of the search but it was known that human trafficking was taking place at this location.
Police found 18 people in the residence. Of those 18, 12 were interviewed and identified as the possible victims.
The women range in age from 20 to 40 years old.
David Dehus II, Samantha Miller and Dustin Speakman were arrested and charged with trafficking in heroin.
The Salvation Army and the Central Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force are assisting with this investigation.
Additional charges are pending.
