FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Ohio - 10 This Morning anchor Pete Scalia and his family are ok after a storm caused extensive damage their home in Fairfield County on Tuesday.

The storm moved through central Ohio Tuesday evening.

"Basically, our house was cut in half," Pete said. "I had just gone to bed."

Pete said he ran into the living room when he heard the wind.

A large tree limb fell more than 40 feet and pierced through the ceiling, collapsing onto Pete.

His daughters were sitting at the table you see in the picture finishing dinner when it all came down.

Pete's wife Amy was putting their son to bed when the limbs hit the house.

Pete said another tree limb shattered sky lights and another limb hit between the garage and the house.

Dispatchers with the Fairfield County Sheriff's office said they only took a couple of reports of trees down in the area but no reports of injuries.
