COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person was seriously injured and a dog was killed during a fire in northwest Columbus on Monday.
Columbus Division of Fire Battalion Chief Jeffrey Geitter said fire crews were called to a four-unit townhouse in the 2600 block of Rolling Oaks Boulevard off Roberts Road around 2:30 p.m.
A person was rescued from one of the homes and taken to the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in critical condition. A dog was found dead in the home, Geitter said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
