Police identify 22-year-old killed in north Columbus shooting

Columbus police have identified the man killed in a shooting that happened Monday night on the city's north side.

The shooting happened just after 11:10 p.m. in the 2000 block of Hampstead Drive North just west of Maple Canyon Avenue, according to police.

When officers arrived on the scene, they found 22-year-old Jordan Pack unresponsive inside a vehicle, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Medics pronounced Pack dead at 11:19 p.m.

Authorities do not have a motive for this shooting.

There is no suspect information at this time.
