COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person was critically injured in a shooting in east Columbus Wednesday morning.
The shooting took place just before 4:25 a.m. on Broadland Lane, just north of East Broad Street, according to Columbus police.
Police said the victim had multiple gunshot wounds to his back, extremities and abdomen.
Authorities said the victim was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition. He is expected to survive his injuries.
The caller told police that the shooting happened after an argument over money.
Police said 46-year-old Fredrick Akins Sr. is wanted for felonious assault.
