COLUMBUS, Ohio — A 15-year-old boy is arrested and charged with murder after shooting and killing another 15-year-old in southeast Columbus, according to police.
Officers were called to the 3200 block of Marion Place just before 4 p.m. Tuesday.
When officers arrived, they found 15-year-old Trevon Dickson shot.
Dickson was taken to Mount Carmel East in critical condition where he was later pronounced dead at 4:31 p.m.
Police said 15-year-old Nasir Ndiaye shot Dickson and Dickson was able to return fire, hitting Ndiaye before collapsing at the scene.
Ndiaye was dropped off at Nationwide Children’s Hospital where he was treated for the gunshot wound, according to police.
Police said Ndiaye is charged with murder.
