Police identify man killed in 3-vehicle northwest Columbus crash

No other injuries were reported.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A 40-year-old man who was killed in a crash involving three vehicles in northwest Columbus on Saturday evening has been identified by police.

The crash happened just before 9 p.m. at the intersection of Maplebrook Lane and West Dublin Granville Road.

According to the Columbus Division of Police, a Subaru Forester, driven by Nicholas Benver, was turning from Maplebrook Lane onto West Dublin Granville Road when it collided with a Dodge Durango heading westbound.

After the two crashed at the intersection, the vehicles struck a Subaru Outback traveling east on West Dublin Granville Road.

Police say medics pronounced Benver dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.

The crash remains under investigation.
