SCIOTO COUNTY, Ohio — One person is dead and four others are injured following a crash in Scioto County Friday evening, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 6:50 p.m. on U.S. Route 52 in Washington Township.
Troopers said 33-year-old Dustin Gordon, of Stout, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet S10 southwest on Route 52. At the same time, a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling northeast. The S10 crossed the center line and hit the Silverado head-on.
Four people were transported to Southern Ohio Medical Center, while Gordon was taken to Cabell Huntington Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
