Police: 1 shot in South Linden

There is currently no suspect information or details about what led up to the shooting.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person is injured following a shooting in north Columbus Sunday afternoon, police said.

Officers with the Columbus Division of Police received a report of a shooting in the 900 block of East 12th Avenue, located in the South Linden neighborhood, around 4:15 p.m.

Officers found the victim inside a residence with gunshot wounds to the lower body.

The victim was taken to Grant Medical Center in serious condition but has since been upgraded to "stable."

There is currently no suspect information or details about what led up to the shooting.
