COLUMBUS -- One person was injured Sunday morning after a shooting in downtown Columbus, according to police.
Officers responded to a call of a shooting at East Long St near North Pearl Street.
Police said the suspect approached a man in the parking lot of the XO Club and confronted him about an altercation they had earlier.
The suspect shot the man three times before leaving the scene in a blue sedan that drove away westbound on Spring Street.
The person shot was taken to Grant Medical Center and is expected to survive his injuries.
