COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person is hospitalized with serious injuries after crashing in west Columbus early Sunday, according to the Columbus Division of Police.
The crash happened at 1:49 a.m. when the driver of a Honda Accord traveling northbound on North Wilson Road, approaching the Valley View Drive intersection, drove off the east side of the roadway.
Police say that the vehicle struck a curb on the corner of the intersection before striking a light post and utility pole on the side of the road.
The driver was ejected from the vehicle during the crash and was taken to Grant Medical Center in critical condition.
