COLUMBUS, Ohio — A man was killed in a hit-and-run crash on the city's north side Monday morning, Columbus Division of Police.
Officers were called to the intersection of East Dublin Granville Road and Sharon Woods Boulevard around 5:45 a.m. on a report of a crash.
According to a release, a Toyota FJ Cruiser and a Volkswagen Jetta collided at the intersection of East Dublin Granville Road and Sharon Woods Boulevard. The Toyota rolled over and crossed into the path of oncoming traffic. It was hit by a Dodge Charger traveling westbound on East Dublin Granville Road.
The driver of the Toyota, identified as 35-year-old Jamel Kendrick, was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:08 a.m. The driver of Dodge was taken to a hospital and their condition is described as stable. The Volkswagen's driver ran away from the scene, according to police.
