OBETZ, Ohio — One person died after a head-on crash in Obetz on Thursday.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, the crash happened around 8 a.m. on Obetz Road, just west of Lockbourne Road.
The driver of a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling east on Obetz Road while someone in a 2022 Chevrolet Malibu was traveling west.
The sheriff's office says the Malibu went left of center and hit the truck head-on.
The driver of the Malibu was taken to Grant Medical Center where they were pronounced dead at 8:41 a.m. The driver of the Silverado was also taken to Grant and their condition is described as stable.
Authorities are not releasing the name of the deceased driver until next of kin is notified.
