COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person is dead after they were found injured on a roadway in south Columbus Wednesday night, police said.
According to the Columbus Division of Police, a call came in around 9:40 p.m. about a person found injured on the road in the area of East Whittier and Mohawk streets, located in German Village.
The victim was taken to Grant Medical Center and was pronounced dead at 9:45 p.m.
Police said it was apparent that the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle. Additional information was not available.
