COLUMBUS, Ohio — One juvenile is dead and another is injured following a four-wheeler crash in Coshocton County early Sunday morning, according to Coshocton County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office received a call just after 3 a.m. for a possible injury accident at the intersection of state Route 651 and Township Road 231 in Crawford Township.
Upon arrival, deputies and emergency personnel learned that the driver of the four-wheeler failed to maintain control on a curve, causing both the driver and passenger to go off the ride side of the road and strike a tree, according to a post from the sheriff's office.
Both juveniles were ejected from the four-wheeler. The sheriff's office says one was taken to Altman Hospital, where he has since been released, and the other juvenile was pronounced dead at the scene.
This incident remains under investigation. The names of the individuals have not been released.
