COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person was killed and two people were hurt in a crash in west Columbus on Monday.
Columbus police said the crash happened around 4:20 p.m. on W. Broad Street near Binns Boulevard.
Police said 72-year-old Mark Wolfe was traveling eastbound on W. Broad Street when he crossed the center line and hit another vehicle going westbound.
Wolfe was taken to Grant Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
Two other people were taken to local hospitals in stable condition.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
This is the 80th reported motor vehicle crash fatality in Columbus this year.
