Police: 1 dead, 2 seriously injured following crash in north Columbus

Officers were called to the intersection of East Dublin-Granville Road and North Meadows Boulevard shortly after 6:30 p.m., on reports of a crash.

WORTHINGTON, Ohio — A juvenile is dead and two other people were injured after a crash in north Columbus Saturday evening, according to the Columbus Division of Police.

Officers were called to the intersection of East Dublin-Granville Road and North Meadows Boulevard shortly after 6:30 p.m., on reports of a crash.

Investigators believe a gold Chevy Cobalt and black GMC Denali were traveling eastbound on Dublin-Granville, while a silver Toyota was traveling westbound and was turning left to go south on North Meadows Blvd.

All three vehicles crashed into each other. Neighboring vehicles were hit by debris.

The juvenile was transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital, where they were pronounced dead at 6:58 p.m. Another juvenile was taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital, where police say they are in serious condition. A third adult was taken to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center in critical condition.

Columbus Police's Accident Investigation Unit is investigating the crash.
