CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — One person was killed and two others were injured during a shooting in Chillicothe early Tuesday morning.
Officers with the Chillicothe Police Department responded to reports of gunfire in the area of East Water Street just after midnight.
Arriving officers found three adults who were injured.
The two injured people were taken to Adena Regional Medical Center for treatment. The third person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police did not say what led up to the shooting or the condition of the two hospitalized individuals.
