COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person is dead and another person is in critical condition after a crash on Interstate 70 near downtown Friday night, according to the Columbus Division of Police.
Police said the crash happened just after 10 p.m. on I-70 West at the East Mound Street exit.
The driver of a 2013 Hyundai Elantra lost control of the vehicle and hit the guardrail on the south side of I-70 West.
Medics responded and pronounced the driver of the Hyundai dead on scene, and transported the passenger of the Hyundai to Grant Medical Center in critical condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
