COLUMBUS (WTHR) —In celebration of LEGO's 60 anniversary, Walmart is offering its customers a once — actually three times — in a lifetime deal.
Starting this week, Walmart is selling 60th anniversary LEGOs at 1958 prices, according to Walmart. Godtfred Kirk Christiansen invented LEGO brick that year.
The bundle includes a 538-piece LEGO Classic Creative Building set and LEGO Classic Sand Baseplate. And it only costs $5.65 online.
To put that into perspective, a LEGO Classic Medium Creative Box with 484 pieces costs $27.99.
The set includes eyes, wheels, doors, and windows. There are also pieces to create vehicles, buildings and other structures.
The LEGO 60th Anniversary Bundle will be available on Feb. 3, Feb. 7 and Feb. 11, according to dontwasteyourmoney.com.
A limited edition house set was released on Feb. 1. Two others, a windmill set and truck set, will be released on Feb. 5 and Feb. 9.
