Judge Shuts Down 'Hineygate'

A Franklin County judge sided with The Ohio State University, effectively ending "Hineygate," apregame and postgame party that takes place during Ohio State football home dates.

The party was forced to move from the Lane Avenue Holiday Inn after the university converted thebuilding into student housing.

A nearby restaurant, the Thirsty I, located on property owned by Ohio State, was hosting theparty this season but the university wanted to close the bar after it missed rent payments.

WTVN-AM (610) owns the naming rights to "Hineygate" and said that it does not comment on pendinglitigation.
