Going to Cedar Point or Kings Island in the summer has been a tradition since the 1800s. Back then, getting on a coaster would only cost you $6. Today, it’s jumped to $60.
So how can you save a few bucks at the park? Here are a few money-saving tips:
- Buy a King’s Island ticket at Kroger and save $21.
- Go online and buy a Coaster Combo ticket for $65 – that gets you inside BOTH Cedar Point and King’s Island.
- Buy tickets early. Visit their websites and pick the dates you plan to visit. You’ll see the best prices available.
- To save on food, get an all-day dining plan for $29.99 at King's Island. You can grab a meal every 90 minutes.
- Go on the least-busy days. For Cedar Point, that’s Tuesday through Thursday. And any weekday is usually the best time to head to Kings Island.
