Homicide detectives are investigating a death police call suspicious in east Columbus.
Emergency responders were called to a home on Critchfield Road around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, on a report of a heart attack.
The medics felt the situation was suspicious and called police to the scene.
The victim was pronounced dead at a hospital shortly before 4:00 a.m.That person was identified as Eduardo Arcia.
Police believe a fight took place before the call for help. Officers say several people were inside the home at the time, including juveniles. They are interviewing those witnesses.
Authorities say an autopsy could be carried out as early as Wednesday night.
