The coronavirus vaccine is now available to anyone in Ohio 16 years and older.
Gov. Mike DeWine said earlier this month a significant increase in vaccine supplies expected in the state warranted the eligibility expansion.
"It’s a moral imperative that we move as quickly as we can to vaccinate all Ohioans who wish to be vaccinated," DeWine said.
Those who are 16 or 17 can only receive the Pfizer vaccine and must receive parental consent.
More than 3.1 million people have received at least one dose of the vaccine in Ohio as of Sunday, according to the state Health Department.
