Former JC Penney Outlet Store Shutting Doors

JCs 5 Star Outlets are closing down across the country, and that includes the once-popular JC Penney outlet store in east Columbus.

The going out of business sale is set to begin this week, according to The Columbus Dispatch.

The CEO of the company says the closure is necessary due to a decline of sales.

The Columbus JC Penney outlet, located on Park Crescent Drive, was sold to the SB Capital Group in 2011.
