Saturday marks the last day that residents and motorists can expect to smell the aroma of bakedgoods coming from the Wonder Bread bakery just north of downtown.
The bakery is located on North Fourth Street.
In March, the media relations firm representing Wonder Bread's parent company announced that thebakery would cease production on May 9.
The company cited local developments and declining bread purchase as reasons for theclosure.
About 70 people were expected to lose their jobs.
