WBNS-10TV President and General Manager, Tom Griesdorn, announced to the 10TV staff this week that long-time Director of Operations, Frank Willson, will be leaving the television station to become the Vice President of Marketing for AEP Energy.
Willson began his career at WBNS-10TV as the Director of Marketing in 1997. In 2002 Willson took over the local programming tasks of the television station and was named Director of Operations in 2003.
Willson was part of the leadership team that created many public relations, customer service, marketing, and social media efforts of 10TV over the years.
From AEP Energy’s website the company describes itself as “…a competitive retail electric service provider affiliated with American Electric Power Company, Inc..”
Willson will continue to be active in the community serving on several boards including Leadership Columbus and JDRF Mid-Ohio.
Willson’s last day with WBNS-10TV will be April 3rd.
