Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his wife welcome their first child

Retired NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his wife, Amy, welcomed a baby girl.

Retired NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his wife, Amy, welcomed a baby girl.

Amy gave birth to Isla Rose on Tuesday morning and tweeted the news just before 10 a.m.

She’s finally here! @DaleJr and I are officially parents to a beautiful baby girl, Isla Rose Earnhardt. It feels like a dream. The best dream ever. 💕

The couple announced last fall that they were expecting their first child.

Earnhardt Jr. has been retired from full-time competition since 2017.
