COLUMBUS, Ohio — A man accused of shooting four people in the King-Lincoln Bronzeville neighborhood last month was arrested.
The Columbus Division of Police said 34-year-old Darius Edwards turned himself in Tuesday night.
The arrest was in connection to the quadruple shooting on Winner Avenue that happened on Oct. 18. Officers found four people, two of whom were juveniles, suffering from gunshot wounds.
According to Franklin County Municipal Court records, detectives spoke with multiple witnesses at the scene and 34-year-old Darius Edwards was identified as the suspect.
Detectives also found video of the incident, which showed two groups of people involved in a fight. During the altercation, court records say Edwards fired multiple gunshots in the direction of the victims.
Edwards has been charged with five counts of felonious assault. He is scheduled to be arraigned on Thursday.
