COLUMBUS, Ohio — A man was injured in a southeast Columbus shooting Thursday afternoon, according to police.
Police said officers were called to the area of Houston and Weirton drives for a reported shooting just after 12:30 p.m.
Officers found the man with a gunshot wound to his abdomen.
The man told police the suspect, Matthew Ward, came to his home and had an argument over property.
During the argument, he said Ward fired multiple shots at him.
The man was taken to a hospital where his condition is described as stable.
An arrest warrant has been filed for Ward's arrest.
