Police investigating multiple shootings in south Columbus Tuesday night

A 17-year-old boy was arrested and charged in one of the three shootings Tuesday night.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Columbus Division of Police is investigating at least three shootings that occurred on the city’s south and southeast sides Tuesday night.

9:15 p.m.

Police found an adult who was shot in the leg on Isington Court and Rockford Lane near Refugee Road. A 17-year-old boy was arrested and charged with felonious assault.

10:55 p.m.

A juvenile told police they were shot multiple times by a group of suspects in a parking lot at East Gates Street between Frebis and Thurman avenues. The juvenile is expected to be OK.

11:30 p.m.

An adult was found shot multiple times in the 1600 block of Smith Road in southeast Columbus. They were taken to a local hospital and are expected to survive his injuries.
