Shooting victim hospitalized in critical condition after being dropped off at South Linden gas station

COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person who police say was a shooting victim is hospitalized in critical condition after they were dropped off at a gas station in the South Linden neighborhood Tuesday morning.

Officers with the Columbus Division of Police were called to the Sunoco gas station at 1905 Cleveland Avenue around 8:50 a.m.

A public safety dispatcher told 10TV that the shooting victim was dropped out of a vehicle at the gas station. It is unclear whether the driver stayed at the scene or if they called 911.

The dispatcher said the location of the shooting is not known at this time but added that Columbus police were looking for one suspect.

Additional information was not immediately available.
