COLUMBUS, Ohio — One person was injured when they were shot during a road rage incident on Interstate 70 in southeast Columbus Tuesday night, police said.
At 9:30 p.m., the victim was driving on I-70 East between Alum Creek Drive and James Road when a man driving a black SUV pulled up next to him and started to act aggressively.
The victim told Columbus police that at one point he heard a loud pop and felt a burning sensation on his right side but continued to drive home.
Police said when the victim arrived at home, he realized he had been shot. He was taken to a hospital for treatment and is expected to be OK.
