COLUMBUS, Ohio — Five people were detained on Thursday after a shot was fired at officers while serving a search warrant in the Franklinton neighborhood.
According to Columbus Police Lt. Dan Hargus, officers were serving the warrant at a home in the 100 block of South Princeton Avenue around 3:35 p.m.
A gunshot was fired through the door after officers knocked on it and a SWAT team was called.
Hargus said people in the house surrendered peacefully and five people were detained for questioning.
Police said no officers returned fired and they were not injured.
