COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Columbus Division of Police is searching for the man who tried to rob a bank on Tuesday.
Police said the suspect walked into the Chase Bank located at 5684 West Broad Street around 1:10 p.m.
The suspect passed a note to the clerk and demanded money.
Police said the employee was trying to comply with the suspect, but he got upset because of how long it was taking and started making threats before leaving.
It's unclear if he got away with any money.
The suspect is described as a man between 30 and 40 years old, weighing 170 to 180 pounds and between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall. He was wearing a green jacket, dark pants, black shoes with a white trim and a dark toboggan at the time.
