COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Columbus Division of Police has identified the woman whose body was found on the city's southeast side in late April.
Police said 33-year-old Danyaze Evans-Kourouma was found near Noe Bixby Road and Carbondale Drive on April 25. Investigators were called to the area when workers discovered her body.
Autopsy results showed that Evans-Kourouma was suffering from a gunshot wound, which resulted in her death.
Investigators are still working to determine the circumstances leading to her being shot.
