COLUMBUS, Ohio — A Columbus man accused of possessing child sexual abuse material was arrested on Tuesday.

According to Franklin County Municipal Court records, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received a tip from Dropbox, a file hosting service, about several files showing CSAM.

Dropbox captured two IP addresses from the involved user "D Stick" in September 2023. Investigators tracked down the IP addresses to Columbus.

Court records say the first IP address was associated with 34-year-old David Sticker. Investigators gathered information that showed Sticker's email and phone number was also associated with the Dropbox account containing CSAM.

A search warrant on the account discovered more files of the abusive material involving young children.

Stickler was arrested and charged with pandering sexually oriented material with a minor, a second-degree felony.

Stickler is a registered tier II sex offender stemming from a previous conviction in 2014 for pandering obscenity involving minors, according to Columbus police.
