Police arrest 2nd teen charged in fatal shooting of father-to-be at Columbus gas station

The shooting happened just before midnight on Dec. 13 at the Sunoco gas station located at 2725 West Broad St.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A second teenager has been arrested in the shooting death of a father-to-be at a west Columbus gas station last year.

The shooting happened just before midnight on Dec. 13 at the Sunoco gas station located at 2725 West Broad St.

The Columbus Division of Police said 21-year-old Andrew Combs tried stopping an armed robbery when he was fatally shot.

Police arrested the first suspect, 16-year-old Dreyton Johnson, in February. He is charged with murder.

On Wednesday, police announced that 17-year-old William Armstead Jr. was arrested in Cincinnati. He is booked in the Franklin County Juvenile Intervention Center. He has been charged with murder and aggravated robbery.
