Police: 18-year-old killed, juvenile injured in northeast Columbus shooting

Police did not say what led up to the shooting.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — An 18-year-old man was fatally shot on the city's northeast side Monday night, according to the Columbus Division of Police.

Officers were called to the 2700 block of Brentnell Avenue, just south of Agler Road, at 9:45 p.m. and found Antonio Jones Jr. who was shot. 

Jones was pronounced dead by medics with the Columbus Division of Fire at 9:51 p.m.

Police said a second shooting victim, described as a juvenile, took themselves to a local hospital and was treated for injuries.

Police did not say what led up to the shooting.
