PATASKALA, Ohio — A Pataskala man was sentenced to 15 years to life in prison after pleading guilty to rape charges Monday, according to Licking County Prosecuting Attorney Jenny Wells.
The sentencing of 35-year-old Bradley Klinkhammer comes nearly a year after the Licking County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a child sexual abuse that happened in Licking County.
On June 2, 2023, a 10-year-old victim was interviewed at a local child advocacy center where they disclosed that Klinkhammer had been sexually abusing them for around a year -- since they were 9 years old.
Klinkhammer pleaded guilty Monday to six counts of rape and two counts of gross sexual imposition. He subsequently did not have to testify about the sexual abuse that had been ongoing, according to the prosecuting attorney.
Klinkhammer will have to register as a Tier III sex offender for the rest of his life if he's released from prison.
