COLUMBUS, Ohio — A man suspected of shooting and killing another man inside a northeast Columbus pub last month has been indicted by a grand jury on four charges, including murder.
A Franklin County grand jury indicted 25-year-old Armando Flores on two counts of murder with firearm specifications, one count of illegal possession of a firearm in a liquor permit premises and one count of having weapons while under disability.
The charges stem from the shooting death of 51-year-old Rudy Tirado-Gonzalez at The Crazee Mule Pub & Grill on Jan. 23.
Officers were dispatched to the pub on Cleveland Avenue and found Tirado-Gonzalez with gunshot wounds.
He was taken to Riverside Methodist Hospital in critical condition where he was pronounced dead.
Court records stated that detectives were able to review security video which showed a man arguing with Tirado-Gonzalez inside the bar. The man then pulled out a handgun and fired multiple times at Tirado-Gonzalez.
Witnesses identified the gunman as Flores.
He is expected to appear in court Wednesday at 1 p.m.
