COLUMBUS, Ohio — A federal judge sentenced a man to more than 11 years in prison for his involvement in mailing drugs from Arizona to Columbus.

Court documents say 26-year-old Ontario Yarbrough received and accepted at least five packages of narcotics from April 2023 to October 2023, according to U.S. Attorney Kenneth Parker’s office.

In addition to receiving the packages, Yarbrough tracked nine additional packages, which were sent from Arizona to Columbus, on the USPS website.

Yarbrough lived at a property on South Burgess Avenue in the Hilltop neighborhood where he received the drugs, re-packaged them and distributed them. One intercepted package contained about half a kilogram of fentanyl.

When a search warrant was executed at his home, agents found fentanyl, cocaine and firearms.

Yarbrough pleaded guilty in May to conspiring to distribute and possessing with intent to distribute 400 grams or more of fentanyl.

A judge sentenced him to 135 months in prison.
