THORNVILLE, Ohio — A man accused of running over multiple people with a pickup truck at the Lost Lands Festival in Licking County on Sunday told deputies he was on LSD, according to court documents.

According to a criminal complaint, officers were called to the Legend Valley concert venue on Kindle Road SE in Thornville around 2:30 a.m. for a report of a red pickup truck running over multiple people. The Licking County Sheriff's Office said the truck ran over several tents.

A Muskingum County deputy who was working special duty approached the scene and found multiple screaming people around the truck. A male told the deputy the truck ran over "his entire family."

The driver of the truck, 24-year-old Noah Curtis, was found leaning against a fence.

Court documents say Curtis told the deputy that he was driving the truck. When Curtis was asked if he was using alcohol or drugs, he reportedly said, "Yeah, LSD."

While waiting for other law enforcement officers to arrive, court documents state that Curtis said, "I ran over like six people" and "Psychedelics are wild."

One person was hospitalized because of the incident. The Licking County Sheriff's Office described their injuries as non-life-threatening.

Curtis has been charged with felonious assault.
