LICKING COUNTY, Ohio — A man accused of shooting two people at a home in Licking County was arrested in Knox County on Tuesday.
Licking County Sheriff Randy Thorp said deputies were dispatched to a home in the 7700 block of White Chapel Road around 5 p.m. for a reported shooting.
Deputies found two victims, who were taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
It's unknown if the shooting happened inside or outside of the home, but Thorp said there were bullet holes found in several cars.
Deputies and detectives identified 27-year-old Devon Jones as a suspect.
Thorp said the Heath Police Department spotted the vehicle Jones was driving with a Flock security camera. The Newark Police Department also spotted Jones and the vehicle with another Flock camera traveling on U.S. Route 13. Flock cameras can read license plate numbers and alert authorities.
Jones was eventually pulled over on Owl Creek Church Road in Knox County where he was arrested.
Thorp said Jones is related to the victims, but their exact relationship was not known, according to Thorp.
Details about what led up to the shooting were not immediately available. The sheriff's office is investigating the shooting.
