Man indicted on murder charges following fatal shooting near Greyhound terminal

Jibril Kim, 26, was indicted following a shooting that killed 42-year-old Rhys Jones on Oct. 8. at the Greyhound Bus terminal.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A man was indicted on multiple charges, including murder, following a fatal shooting near a bus terminal in west Columbus earlier this month, according to Franklin County court records.

Jibril Kim, 26, was indicted on charges including aggravated murder, two counts of murder, felonious assault, carrying a concealed weapon and having a weapon while under disability.

Officers with the Columbus Division of Police were called to the Greyhound Bus terminal in the 800 block of North Wilson Road just before 11:15 p.m. on Oct. 8.

Police said the shooting victim, identified as 42-year-old Rhys Jones, was pronounced dead at the scene at 11:23 p.m. A gun was also recovered from the scene.

Police said they arrested Kim after security detained him at the scene
