REYNOLDSBURG, Ohio — A student is in custody after police said a gun was found at Reynoldsburg High School on Wednesday.
The Reynoldsburg Division of Police said they were notified just after 2:30 p.m. by staff about reports of firearms at the school.
A school resource officer was already on campus and responded immediately, along with other officers with Reynoldsburg police. The campus was quickly put into a full lockdown by school administrators.
Police said a gun was recovered from one student’s possession. All students and staff are safe and unharmed, according to police.
An investigation into the incident is underway. No charges have been announced at this time.
